Today I made my second trip to CVS this week. Here is what I got:
1 Complete eye contact solution $8.99
2 Dove deoderant $3.98
Coupons:
$1 Complete 10/26 Red Plum
$1 Dove from home mailer
$10.99 ECB

Total OOP: $0.14
Total ECBs earned $10.99

I'm back!!

I was on vacation last week, got back on Friday.

Luckily I was able to hit CVS when I got back and the only thing they were out of were the Venus razors. I'll post a picture soon, I put my camera in the washer accidently and my husband says not to turn it on for a couple of days and maybe it will work :(

**Update: This is what I got at the CVS black Friday sale. I got everything for a little less than $1 OOP. We actually got two of everything in this picture, because my husband used his card too. So for $2 we got everything in this picture times two!!!
Also, my camera wasn't ruined by going through the washer yay!!!

I'm taking the week off from CVS, there is nothing good this week.

I'll be putting my time and effort in at Kmart- they are doing super doubles all week!!!

They will double up to a $2 coupon. Double coupons at Kmart will last until December 6th.
Here are some rules:
Only 4 like coupons will be doubled per day
You can double up to 75 coupons per day per person. So you can bring another person or visit the store on consecutive days.
No internet printable coupons or copies of coupons
Coupon will be adjusted down if after doubled it exceeds the value of the item

Free Schick razor

Hurry, hurry, sign up for another free Schick trimmer. I had to use another email address to sign up again. Hopefully this arrives in time to be stuffed in a stocking!!

Couldn't help myself....

So I said that I was going to stay out of CVS this week, but I had a really tough day and decided to stop in on my way home to relieve some stress. I ended up with some great deals!!!

1 Complete eye contact solution (I don't wear contacts but little sister does)$8.99
1 Instant Energy $4.99
1 Bodi Heat pads $3.99
1 Right Guard Deodorant $0.99 (rain check)
2 Gold Emblem dehydrated onions $1.98 (filler)
1 Snickers $0.50 (filler)

Coupons:
$2 off Right Guard (tore off inside of box)
$1 off Complete
$1 off Bodi Heat (on package)
$17 ecb

Total OOP: $0.49 I didn't plan this correctly. I figured the cashier would adjust the deodorant coupon to $0.99. If I had known I needed $2.50 in filler I would have gotten something better.

ECB's received: $23.97

Two ways I hit the jackpot tonight:
1. I didn't realize that the deodorant I couldn't find last week is now a December monthly deal. I got a $6 ecb for it. Basically, CVS paid me $7 to buy this deodorant. My husband only uses Right Guard aerosol, so I'm hoping he likes the "professional strength." He is so picky, who knows.....I didn't need any of the stuff I got except for the deodorant, so 50 cents for deodorant is still a bargain, before CVS I was paying $4 a can.

2. On my receipt, I got a $5 off $15 purchase which expires in 3 days!!! I'm going to buy one more contact solution (or get free) and the dog bed in the ad and my pups will have a new bed courtesy of CVS. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a winner, I think!!

Yesterday I got a box in the mail from Home Made Simple that contained a full size can of air freshener and a box of 15 Ziploc Zip N' Steam bags. I've seen the Ziploc bags in the store many times, but never really thought they were a good idea. Since I got them for free, I decided to try one. I filled a bag with zucchini and a little bit of butter. I put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and it was cooked perfectly. I was very surprised! I liked the ease of preparation, and even better, no dishes to wash. Who knew?? These will be great for our camping trip during Thanksgiving week!!

This trip is a good example of getting overage from coupons. I needed to buy mayo at the store this week. Mayo is super expensive ($3.49 usually, even for store brand) and it kills me to buy it. I had enough overage from my coupons to buy the mayo for free (or $0.79). My mayo coupon isn't one that you will find if you live in Southern California. I got it from a coupon exchange that I am in (I know, I'm addicted). The Southern California version of the coupon is $1 off 2 :(

Let me know if you'd like info about joining the coupon exchange.
