Stock up on Lean Cuisine!

So Cal shoppers- it is time to stock up on Lean Cuisines!!

Today and tomorrow you will get the best deals by using the $1 off 4 coupon that expires on 4/30 from the 2/22 Smart Source.

Stater Brothers has Lean Cuisine on sale for $1.77 and Food 4 Less has them on sale 3 for $5.

I'm going to try Food 4 Less first because I think they will have the large boxes on sale, Staters only has the small ones.

I'm back to blogging! A lot of people have asked what happened to me.... I started excercising instead of blogging. I starting using Wii fit and I usually have around an hour after work to excercise or blog, so I have been excercising. I'm going to try to start doing both.

CVS kids sunscreen $0.94 (clearance)
4 Dove skin vitalizer refills $1.96 (clearance, I got 8 vitalizers last week)

$25 restaurant gift certificates for $2!!

Restaurant.com is having an 80% off sale!

You can buy $25 restaurant gift certificates for $2. Enter discount code LUCKY at checkout. I bought a couple of these last time they were on sale.

My husband and I tried Iron Chef which is near Ontario Mills, we loved it!! The food was excellent! We got lettuce wraps as an appetizer and honey walnut shrimp, sesame chicken and garlic green beans for the entree. Each entree came with our choice of white rice, brown rice, fried rice or chow mein. We had enough left overs for 4 lunches!!

Always make sure to read the fine print of the certificates you are purchasing as their restrictions vary. Some aren't good on weekends, some require you to purchase $35 worth of food, etc.

California residents beware: Car registration hike!!!!

I jut got the renewal notice for the registration on our truck today. We owe $635 for a 2006 Ford truck. Last year we paid $491 and I choked on that, now its $635!!!

How are already struggling Californians supposed to budget for this? Especially my husband and I who are both public service employees who are taking furlough days and not allowed overtime??

If registration were groceries, it would be 3 months worth on my budget!
